Dear All,
First of all, to let you know where I am coming from, my name is Lain; I am a U.S. Army wife as well as the daughter of a 23 year recently retired counterterrorism special agent for the U.S. Air Force.
I would like to say that this is not the time to be pointing fingers and saying horrible things about our government. Our people elected our officials into government and during times like this, we MUST support who we have elected. We must unite and support each other.
This morning, my father witnessed the Pentagon plane crash 100 feet away from his very eyes. We are all fortunate that he is still with us. It took a whole day of worrying and trying to get through the phone lines to find out, but thank the heavens above that we are lucky. My husband has packed his bags this evening and will not be returning "until further notice".
Please, no more of this ridiculing our government. No more stupid remarks. Support our country in this crisis. Our prayers are with all of the families of the victims [everywhere] who were not so fortunate as we, here in Lawton, Oklahoma.
